In Maury, Grenache is the King.
This grape variety, indicative of the terroir, is at home here. We have known how to protect and conserve this inheritance – our old Grenache which comes in three colours.
White Grenache which we reserve for our selection “Terra Novo”, vinified in casks.
Pink Grenache which now has its vintage “Nature de Schiste” a delicate, mineral white wine.
Black Grenache which is the soul of the winery.
With its poor soil, black schist, a windy hot climate we can easily understand that Maury is a unique terroir. The grape harvest is both early and long as we produce dry white with its mineral freshness as well as V.D.N., picked at top maturity. Through our vinification we try to express the full diversity of our 900 ha terroir. We have then many soils, altitudes and exposures which allow us to produce a wide range of wines.
